Hey guys! Xxypher here. I was wondering who else plays Battlefield heroes. I just started today because I finally got my new computer. I love this game, even though it seems /v/ hates it. So yeah, my name is Vorked there, just search it and add me!

I think it's outright terrible, the internet already has enough crappy "free" games.

It's pretty fun. I don't play it anymore, but me and my friends used to play it together. Teamworking is awesome in that game.

Something about all battlefield servers, don't agree with my connection, so I can't play any battlefield game. If I fly a plane, the throttle simply cuts out for 3 seconds after a 1 second burst and I crash - usually somehow killing all my teammates at once. I did try Battlefield Heroes. Dunno what's so special about it. It was meant to be a game that could be played on any system - something I highly support and appreciate very much, since before I got my beast at home I had a crappy system for a while. Unfortunately, there is nothing special about it for me and the microtransaction thing to buy stupid shit in the game is even more unappealing. (Though not putting down the model of micro-transaction, it is a good idea).

Not ragging on anyone who likes it, but I think it's just one of those flavors of FPS that only appeals to a certain percentage of fps gamers. I play Arma 2, which can be frustrating, it's a flavor that not many like.

This.

Free games stick around because they keep adding weapons and gadgets and such, this game got boring minutes after I began playing.

I was very exited when I saw the teaser videos.
But when I got a betakey and played it I found that the game was sadly not really that much fun as I imagined.

Played it 2 days then stopped.

Ehh, I liked the game for the same reason I like soldat; it burns some time and it is quite fun. Simple fun. I haven't played it recently at all though.

I played it a bit, but didn't enjoy it much. Weapons barely did any damage, you had to spend several clips just to kill one enemy. Plane controls suck, which combined with small maps makes using planes no fun at all. Overall I think the game isn't as fast-paced and easy as Soldat, that's why I didn't like it.
Also, I played it when it was still beta, so things might have changed. Or maybe I just suck at this game for some reason...
