Some of the changes were non configeratable.. like the change of recoil on the minigun when standing as apposed to crouching and proning... and the extra self-damage on the m79 was removed.

There weren't any significant changes to the weapon settings.  The changes were only very minor.

I was hoping it was the extra self damage from nades that was removed :/

Because the changelog was not that clear, could someone (5th account) please clarify if it's for "explosions" in general or just the m79 or just nades or what... thanks.

Grenade self damage is back to 1.3.1 value. Nothing else regarding that was changed I think.

so it is still an extremely slow pace annoying "balance" that takes forever to kill things?

I think the gameplay speed has increased, and from what I've read, most other people do. Why do you think the gameplay is extremely slow?

Is it possible that you've been playing a different game all this time, 4-y? We're playing "Soldat." Homepage is http://soldat.pl/

Technically, it was an 1.4 bug that decreased their range. Now they're classic again.

Exactly, unless there was some drastic change like -20 dmg to all weapons and +50% reload, I don't see how there is any change in the gameplay speed.

So in your opinion, it has always been slow? Its definately faster than most other shooter games out there.

The pace of soldat hasn't changed at all.

I'm a speed player... I move around the map as fast as I possibly can using rolls, backflips and explosion-boosting. I notice no difference between 1.3 movement speed and 1.4 movement speed. And after ajusting to the new knife settings, I play just as well as I did before.

Perhaps it seemed slower to you in 1.4 because every time you tried to M79 boost yourself you killed yourself.

The weapons deal much less damage, causing it to drag on more. I suggest a global buff.
