Nade Speed

I've always thought that they were a little slow, but thats just me .
Imagine, in real life, you're trying to throw a grenade at someone, but then... the nade only goes 2 feet infront of you  .
What I'm thinking is that the grenade speed should be tinked at just a little bit... from 50 to 45 .(In case you're wondering what kind of idiot slows when he wants to speed up, The lower the speed for nade, The faster.) So what do you think?

They are a bit slow, true. But that is why you move in the direction you wish to throw them to add your own velocity into the nade.

I think nades are fine, adding more speed would make feet kills too easy.

Nade speed is just perfect. All you gotta do is get used to it.

Soldat is just a game and many things are unreal like the nade throwing motion.

It's not easy to react to the incoming enemy, remove the nade from your equipment, pull the pin and throw it accurately at the same time in a 1 second range, right?

Grenade speed is fine, just like the weapons, since the bullets in Soldat fly at ~80 till ~150 meters per second, which is unrealisticly slow but therefore scaled down perfectly for the game dimensions.

In real life, one single bullet would be enough to take you out of action.

Something has to be wrong here. A Soldat nade surely doesn't travel 100 meters in one second, it travels 15, maybe 20 meters per second.

I think he is referring to the same amount in the weapons.ini, in which the rate of fire gets faster when the number is lower.
I'm not sure what the measurement is in, i think it could be in ticks.

I don't know why, but he made the grenade one of the most un-moddable weapon in the game, The only thing you can modify is, speed and damage, and for some wierd reason, MM made it so the smaller the speed value, the faster....

Yes.

Did you even read my post, The games speed is in ticks, the lower it is the faster it goes, I'm not sure the amount of ticks per second, try wikipediaing it. You'll see there's a good reason for it.

I'm quite a fan of the nade, but it goes fast enough as it is. Speeding it up further would make it overpowered IMO.

Lower speed on grenades = faster speed on the throw. Just a little bit of weirdness for your entertainment.
