- I have, In total, 37GB of memory. What kind of a number is that?
It's no good telling him what to buy until you know what he wants to use it for.If he just wants it for playing Soldat, E-mail, chat and browsing the web then he isn't going to need expensive top of the line stuff. But if he wants it for gaming, particularly new games then he will need plenty of memory, a decent processor and a great graphics card.

Motherboards come supplied with all the instructions you need and if you can't follow them then you shouldn't be building in the first place.
Don't even think about upgrading it. What you got there is a paperweight.What is your budget? Box or laptop? Buying a new box will be twice as fast for half the price.
I'm looking for laptop, not desktop.
^That's a very good deal and you will have like 100-200 bucks left over for other crap (software, mouse, speakers maybe)
