Greetings Soldat community!

I’m long term player of Soldat, and i have to talk with you people.
Almost every one of us knows the problems of so called "skilled” clan wars or playing in general.
There are mostly involved lots of laming or using the "cheap" ways. Therefore you can’t be avoided by the word whine. One whines about spray, another one about grenades. This topic which I am going to write about concerns grenades. You can grenade-spam or use nading (also known as throwing grenades while shooting).
With these tactics you can get really easy kills, and your screen gets full of grenades.
But is this fun in general? Are matches supposed to be one big grenade dread?
In my opinion this is a cheap way to play well. In my opinion killing in Soldat comes from really good aiming. Many of you could say that it's about aiming the grenades, but it’s so wrong.
Weapon aiming skill for the win, and forget the nading. Isn't it pretty annoying when you shoot your enemy almost into a certain death, and then he comes with one grenade, meanwhile shooting with his weapon, and you are dead. At least I, personally, hate it. From my point of view, any one who uses nading is not so skilled. In my morals, grenades are to be used in reloading and in really hard situations. It's just that some people think they are in a major danger 24/7.
Same goes with spraying. I can accept spray when the EFC is running. It's just that they think that there's always an EFC around.

I might know how to solve this problem;
By making it so that when you throw a grenade you are unable to fire your weapon.
This would remove the so called “nading” and prevent a lot of grenade-spamming.
Currently the same is happening with reloading, while you are throwing grenades during it, the reloading stops for a while.

So I suggest that MM could add some option for my idea, so the beta testers could try it. I just want Soldat to be fair and enjoyable as possible, and I am sure that many of you think the same!

Doesn't it alread do that? I know your reloading pauses when you roll......

It is. You just misunderstood my sentence, or i did explain it in a bad way.
But from " At this moment same goes with reloading, " you can understand that its already done/avaible :p

From what I understood, you suggested that the reloading temporarily pauses if you throw a grenade (while reloading).

I don't understand this part.  Isn't that already in Soldat?

EDIT: Oh, never mind, you can still shoot while throwing a nade.

I agree you should

A: Stop shooting when you chuk a nade
B: Stop reloading when you chuk a nade

and option would be great for this in the menu =)

I don't agree. Nades are pretty difficult to learn to control. If someone has learnt them enough so that they dont need to shoot as much, they should have the privledge of doing so.

Hey, I've got a better idea. Let's remove grenades.

Then, to comprehend, let's remove all other weapons as well.

Then we could basically remove Soldat itself. Problem solved!

sometimes it's good that you can throw away a grenade if someone's coming while reloading, but not realistic, so i think i agree, but to throw a nade while reloading i'm not sure.

Anyway, I agree on this for the fact that it's kinda hard to fire an automatic weapon, and throw a nade at the same time. I actually thought this hole deal about not being able to shoot whilst throwing a nade was allready in soldat, but I guess I just stop firering when nading without even thinking about it.

I support this, but for different reasons.

I agree that yeah, shooting and reloading should be paused while in the nading animation. 

If I need some kind of resume to say my opinion is worth-while...

well...dont get that close to your enemy when they have nades or are shooting at you...its called tactics, plus you have about half a second for a backflip to dodge it.

I can accept spray when the EFC is running. It's just that they think that there's always an EFC around.

Not really, they hope for the best that they hit anything at all.....  ;D

But yeah, it would be kinda tricky to shoot with a rifle (not to mention the dessert eagles!!) and chuk a nade at the same time...  :P

Hmm.. 4 nades = 4 m79 shots
Nades really easy. When latensy was added for knife... Balance between nade and knife was destroyed... 8(

This is the worst idea ever, shooting and nading is all good, it's not cheap nades are easy to dodge mid range
