→ Team indicators for kill console; Atomic Hype
My new password is secure as shit Mate, I am not sure Shit is even secured nowadays.
How about team ESPs for registered users?? They have the radar, why not an ESP that shows the names, health, and ammo of your teammates? Would be an awesome new feature for registered users.

Would be an awesome new feature for registered users. There has been discussion about that somewhere, but not everyone liked this feature (that includes me). Soldat isn't an RTS, and all other shooters are perfectly fine without those indicators. An average player can already see if his teammate needs help, and by how long has he been shooting you can assume how much ammo he has.
→ An account system, a Counter-Strike style money system, soldier classes, alternate weapon functions, death from existing wounds, a level-like experience system (None of these will ever be implemented because any would forever ruin the arcadey, nostalgic simplicity of Soldat which makes it so popular, aside from the massive coding time)

This would invite even more weapon-balance issues
disrupt Soldat's file layout
mess up functionality of old mods
etc.
Besides, you can already edit weapons.ini
only weapon that imho would be interesting to add would be a grappling hook with the same kind of functionality like the one in quake1 ctf(ie if you grapple a enemy they would take damage and you would be pulled against him as well as normal grappling against walls). would also speed up gameplay and create possibilitys for interesting map layouts.
I'm calling bulls**t on the "no new weapons" rule.QuoteThis would invite even more weapon-balance issuesNot a problem. The weapons are more balanced then ever, and the beta 1.5.1 weapons.ini is so popular it's been put into every major gather and clan war server rental system. It's even considered for leagues. It's the perfect opportunity to add new weapons. By the rule's reasoning we shouldn't add new features to the game because they would invite even more bugs. That's just ass-backwards thinking.Quotedisrupt Soldat's file layoutBy adding some GFX and two SFX? I think the devs knows in what folders to put them.Quotemess up functionality of old modsNo. Old mods would work fine. Any new weapon would be unaffected by old mods. It's the expected and preferable result.Quoteetc.I disagree.QuoteBesides, you can already edit weapons.iniIrrelevant. The idea is to add weapons, not edit existing ones.Find some better excuses, please.
