We haven't tested it enough. There are still bugs that need to be fixed, weapon.ini changes that need to be discussed and final map list that is still to be decided.

1. 1.5 isn't a fail. actualy it's one of the more stable versions of soldat ever.

How do you mean its stable? It doesnt seem stable if i cant see my and enemys score on F1. How is it even official with a bug like that? Because of that most of my soldat mates stopped playing, so did i. I hope they come back with this version:/

Because the community uptake on the 1.5.0 public beta was poor, so not all bugs were discovered before the version was released.

We are not developing the game, he is. If he didn't want to work on this game he shouldn't of taken the job. We are giving him as much help as we can. It's not OUR fault, if he couldn't cope with developing a 2D Game he shouldn't of taken this. I really could go rant but I have other shit to do.

You should note that even big time developers have been using public beta tests in recent years (Microsoft, for example), and they have gone very successfully because people have actually downloaded and used the betas and release candidates to find any problems within them.

Well, he volunteered to work on the game for free, so it shows that he wanted to work on the game and can cope with it. Secondly, this is only his second time working on Soldat as sole developer.

"We are giving him as much help as we can"? Doesn't really sound like the case when people like you are flaming him and pushing all responsibility to the developer like you are, not to mention the lack of participation in the betas.

The reason why we have betas is because NSC couldn't find any more bugs by himself, so he'll need us to help out in finding the bugs, and then he'll fix them. Simple as that. Since Soldat is a free game and you are one of its players, shouldn't you be doing your part in helping catch some bugs in the beta? Even if you can't, the least you can do is stop whining.

And since you said you can find someone who will be willing to fish out every single bug in less than one day, go and do it and show that you are "giving as much help as you can".
