Inching along very slowly. I'll post new pics of the particle rifle soon; I finally managed to get the PNG working without suffering resampling pooties. Most of the time I get to work on HLT is the massive task of converting all my extensions so that config programs will work right.

Here we go:

[Needler Update]


The needler in-game got a facelift; now it's a lot more, well, needler-like. I'm still really messing around with the WM for it, so that the DPS isn't annoyingly high while not making the total damage output ridiculously low.

[Particle Rifle]


Final version of the particle rifle.

[Spiker]


The spikes are still a bit rough but it's okay for now.

[Gameplay]




The more or less gimped weapons can actually be pretty good when used right. I'm pretty happy with the DPS balance for the Plasma Rifle so it's not too high while preserving the stamina that makes it a great weapon for floodmatch. The splaser can be a tricky weapon to use, but can be used to great effect to rapidly clear out areas like spawn, haha.

Config is still up in the air, but right now I'm focusing on completing the sfx and gfx aspects.

Lookin good, I like the texture on Voland

the weapons look nice in-game too (Particularly the needler and spiker, nice muzzle flash etc)

Well, that texture does look interesting...but I don't think it fits with halo so much. And I'm guessing the brute spiker will be another 'hard to do online' weapon? It looks like it uses arrows.
Nice rifle too. The png transperancy really helps doesn't it? Can give it a really nice smooth look.

Thanks for clearing up the concept of time, you are usually not that helpful.

The point of this mod is the hype, and "somehow" you lost it. I would recommand changing WIP to RIP as the mod lost it's purpose already.

Honestly and sadly I have to agree with Excruciator. This took more than one year and I guess it's even more than two...

Espadon you could release at least a BETA or alpha or whatever these things are called.

Give to the fans some hope.

Since there is no link, I'm guessing that there is no beta. But still it wouldn't explain why you mentioned it, so the question is, where is the link?

EDIT: there is no beta. I guess I'll make my own needler and covenant beam rifle.
