Another map based on The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion theme.
Shading: manual;
Texture: custom 7x multitexture;
Sceneries: only custom .png sceneries;
Waypoints: yes, for both teams;
Players: 2-3;
Time spent: ~4hours;
-=Download=-
1.6 Mb
-=Please rate my map on SML=-
Credits do to SK and WildBills for sceneries, to X-Tender, Geologist and SML for texture.
Heretic Soldat II mod
is recomended for this map.

OMG!!!
*downloading*
I don't like the laser/thunder thing, but the rest is nice.
I changed my mind, everything is incredible in this map. Actually I think the whole thunder could be made from deadly polys, right now it has ordinary obstacle feeling which is strange.

I made this "raw" overview to have a better look on the layout. you really cant tell all the passages from the normal overview
astonishing map, your polyart and multitexturing is simply of the highest class available. the layout looks good aswell...

thanks for nice comments, and for Avarax for that overview...
Well i tried to find some kind of unusual map barrier, so i made this *magical barrier*. It woks fine in spite of that it is made with thin polugons... If it was made from deadly polys it cause lots of selfkills especially for bots...

Nice looks, but bad framrate due to high polycount. Layout is ok for a DM map.

WOW!!! This map is amazing. Finally comes out eh.. Nice lay out and way-points. (as always) This map looks pretty amazing and one of the best looking maps i have seen so far. SUPERB! (looking forward to the tw_battlefield update, if you still planning to...) I give it a five... out of five... (Adam Sesslar XD)

Holy christ. I really believe you're the best soldat mapper. This map is truly awesome.
Off-topic: did you ever think about mapping for more complex games? With that talent you could make amazing stuff.

The bad framerate is caused by edges rendering, if you turn that off there shouldn't be much difference in the framerate compared to low poly maps. This map is fantastic

That's like wow..
//Offtopic- Anna how do you turn off edge rendering?

Run Config.exe and uncheck "Render smooth polygons" under Performance.

Very nice visual, there are about 8 textures in one map! And scenery is sweet too. Impressed.
