Lil' technical question
« on: March 31, 2009, 12:43:08 am »
I was working on an updated version of one of my maps (Take Risks), and I wanted to know about one thing. In this map I've made the background out of many clouds of different colours, maybe it would be better for low end machines that I make one big scenery file with those clouds rather than leaving the tons of them there?

I've seen many maps with big background sceneries, but I can't figure out if it's better or worse.

Anyhow, thanks for reading, hope to get some answers ^^

well its a tradeoff, the opacity you usualy put on clouds will lower the fps, however if the bg scenery is to big it will result in a back square on some computers as well.
